Visited here today for the first time and pleasantly surprised to find such a lovely place on the doorstep.
At first, expectations are low, having to walk through a Garden centre to find it. Once outside combination of the outdoor space, miniature train, crazy golf, play areas and the wildlife park is fantastic.
I visited with my young daughter and under 3s are free which meant only having to pay for myself. Really good variety for animals, great touch being able to read into the past of each of the animals and how the charity helped them back to full fitness.
We stayed for about 2 hours both in the wildlife park and the train ride.
Would highly recommended as a family morning/afternoon out.
