** Please be aware, the road layout at Norton Bridge has changed. Instead of going straight on at the Norton Bridge Roundabout, please turn RIGHT for Eccleshall, then left onto the B5026 at the new roundabout. We are currently battling the Highways agency to get our brown sign re-instated **

March 25th 2019. Fire broke out in one of our enclosures, we lost animal lives we cared for, Basil the Meerkat, Todd, Thelma and Louise the tortoises and our family of fruit bats.

Along with enclosures we worked hard to construct. Gentleshaw has been providing a home for rescued animals since 1993, this fire has had a devastating impact on everyone at the centre.

After the initial shock, and ongoing heart ache from losing our animals, we are dusting ourselves off and trying to re build what we have lost, so we can continue our rescue work. If you can help, any amount, however small, will be most gratefully appreciated.

As Of November 2015, we have retired our centre diary and instead we will be using facebook to keep people up to date on a more regular basis.
